There are 2 technical teams at Kappa Data:
Presales: are you a Kappa Data reseller, and would you like help with making a kit list or diagrams? Would you like some extra backup during a customer visit? Would you like support with tenders or a presenter for your customer events? You can rely on our presales team for all these tasks.
Support: Our support continues after the product is sold. The support team can assist you with installations, and you can contact them with your technical questions. The team also conducts site surveys for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
This knowledge isn’t limited to the person from Kappa Data; we strive to ensure that every partner is totally capable of completing its projects autonomously. These technical staff are the same people responsible for organising the official and non-official training courses. Years of hands-on experience are always an added value when it comes to sharing knowledge, so Kappa Data is proud of the quality of the courses provided.
One of the technical services Kappa Data offers its customers is the pre-configuration service. When you order equipment from Kappa Data, you can choose to have it fully configured so that everything is already ready when you install it.
With preconfiguration, we start with an intake meeting. During this conversation, we determine the customer’s requirements and wishes. This can include network segmentation, interconnections, Wi-Fi coverage, security requirements (e.g. NIS2), etc. Based on this conversation, our technical team put together a configuration. Together with the customer, this configuration is checked against the predetermined requirements.
After this preparatory phase, our technical team starts configuring the network. Everything is prepared and the network equipment is also configured to be plug-and-play.
Once this is done, the equipment can be sent. It can be handed over to the party doing the physical installation. Everything is delivered plug and play together with documentation on how the cabling is put together (which ports can be used,…). During this installation, our team is of course available for questions.
After the physical installation, a validation of the network can optionally also be done and an installation report is delivered.
