This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to deploy Extreme Networks’ ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller. Students experience the deployment process from the beginning to completion, learning all the essential steps and technologies. Lectures are supported with hands-on experience with ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller and relevant access points. Successful completion results in an operational WLAN with Open SSIDs, encryption and authentication, configuration settings, AP discovery, and equipment profiles used in the creation and management of Sites in ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the working knowledge to:
- Deploy ExtremeCloud™ IQ – Controller based on reference architectures from Extreme Networks customer scenarios
- Earn a learning credential on the Professional Program training path
Target group
This course is for personnel who install, and configure wireless networks using ExtremeCloud IQ Controller. This course is the mandatory first step on the progression path to the professional certification.
